Designed by world renowned architect, Arthur Erickson, the building overlooks Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and the North Shore mountains. This ten-storey building has floor plates ranging from 5,000 to 14,500 square feet with multiple terraced garden decks/patios on each floor. In proximity to major hotels, restaurants, and the seawall, the building will be across the street from an Urban Fare, which is currently under construction. Views will be preserved in perpetuity as the building overlooks the Coal Harbour Community Center and Park.

The Evergreen Building is a concrete office building, with a unique trapezoidal plan expressed on each floor as a series of receding terraces, integrated with overhanging planting.  It is located at the edge of an escarpment, at the northeast corner of West Pender and Jervis Streets. Given the receding terrace design of the structure, the building's footplates decrease in size as with each increase in elevation.

The building possesses two levels of secured parking. The parking is beneath the building, given the natural sloping topography, the parking is not underground. There are three elevators - two of which service the entire building, and one which serves levels P through 3. The building utilizes a side core design to maximize the usable floor area per floor and to provide a maximum amount of natural light and views to the building occupants.
